Silver prices in Pakistan declined on October 7, with 24-karat silver falling Rs100 to Rs6,488 per tola as international rates dropped to $60.10 per ounce.According to market rates reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver fell by Rs100 to Rs6,488 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver declined by Rs86 to Rs5,562, reversing gains recorded earlier in the week.
Internationally, silver also came under pressure, falling $1 to $60.10 per ounce, contributing to the downward movement in Pakistan’s local market.
Silver had risen to Rs6,588 per tola earlier in the week, but the latest decline pushed the precious metal back below the Rs6,500 level.
Compared with its late-August peak of around Rs7,329 per tola, silver has lost approximately Rs840, highlighting continued volatility in precious-metal markets.
Further movements in local silver prices are expected to remain sensitive to international bullion rates and currency fluctuations.
