Karachi police have arrested suspected mastermind Inayat from Islamabad in connection with the April 18 murder of a woman and her two sons in Naval Colony, Saeedabad.
Karachi police have made a significant breakthrough in the Naval Colony, Saeedabad triple murder case, arresting suspected mastermind Inayat from Islamabad.
According to Keamari Investigation Police, Sumaiya and her two sons, 14-year-old Shehroz and 12-year-old Abdullah, were shot dead inside their home on April 18.
Police allege that Sumaiya’s former husband, Wilayat, carried out the killings after being allegedly instigated by his brother Inayat.
Investigators said Inayat was arrested in Islamabad and later transferred to Karachi after obtaining a transit remand.
Police are continuing raids and other efforts to arrest Wilayat, the main accused in the case, who remains at large.
Further investigation is underway to establish the complete sequence of events and the motive behind the killings.
