Gold Price in Pakistan Falls Rs3,100 to Rs434,436 Per Tola

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped sharply on October 7, with 24-karat gold falling Rs3,100 to Rs434,436 per tola as international bullion prices declined.

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decline on Wednesday, October 7, as weakness in the international bullion market weighed on domestic rates.

According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,100 per tola to Rs434,436.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs2,658 to Rs372,458, reversing the modest gains recorded earlier in the week.

The decline followed renewed weakness in international markets, where gold fell $31 to $4,119 per ounce.

Gold had remained unchanged at Rs437,536 per tola on Tuesday, after gaining Rs1,200 earlier in the week, highlighting continued volatility in both local and global bullion markets.

The latest decline suggests that domestic gold prices remain sensitive to movements in international bullion rates and broader global financial conditions.
