Mustafa Kamal Orders 15-Day Investigation Into Sindh MDCAT 2026 Results

Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal has ordered PMDC to investigate complaints over transparency and alleged irregularities in Sindh’s MDCAT 2026, with a report due within 15 days.

Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal has ordered a comprehensive investigation into complaints surrounding the conduct and results of MDCAT 2026 in Sindh, directing the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) to submit its findings within 15 days.

The Ministry of National Health Services has asked the PMDC president to conduct a detailed review of the examination process following concerns over transparency and alleged irregularities in the results.

According to the ministry’s directions, investigators have been asked to analyse centre-wise candidate numbers, marks, pass rates and unusually high scores, while also examining any significant differences in performance between examination centres.

The inquiry will also review attendance sheets, seating plans, examination-centre records and result data, along with complaints relating to possible paper leaks, impersonation, weaknesses in invigilation and potential administrative negligence.

The move follows growing concerns raised by candidates, public representatives and other stakeholders over the transparency of the examination process. A Senate committee has separately called for an investigation into apparent anomalies in Sindh’s MDCAT result patterns and the possibility of malpractice.

Authorities have not yet concluded that any wrongdoing occurred. The allegations and unusual result patterns remain subject to investigation, with the PMDC expected to submit its report to the Health Ministry within the prescribed timeframe.
