Police in Karachi have submitted an interim challan against Anmol alias Pinky in another narcotics-related case after completing an investigation spanning approximately six months.
According to the challan submitted before a Karachi City Court, investigators have alleged that the accused was linked to a drug distribution and supply network operating in the city. Police further claim that the network targeted young people and used facilitators for the alleged supply of narcotics.
The Judicial Magistrate accepted the interim challan and transferred the matter to the District and Sessions Court, from where it was subsequently assigned to an Additional District and Sessions Judge for further proceedings.
Police have shown Anmol alias Pinky as arrested in the challan, while the prosecution is expected to present supporting evidence during the trial process.
The allegations contained in the police challan have not yet been finally proven in court, and criminal responsibility will be determined after the evidence is examined and judicial proceedings are completed.
